battle chasers challenge.didn't have enough time to finish this. took me about 2 hours to get from the sketch shoze.deviantart.com/art/battl… to this and i guess i'll need a couple more till it's done. i'm definitely gonna do it on the first 2 free hours i find.
i read battle chasers about a decade ago. don't remember much of it other the fact it blew my mind (i think it was the first comic i ever read) and that i was heart broken when i realized it didn't have an ending.
that book set a standard for what i expected comic art to be like and for a long time i used to feel excited about reading new comics and then disappointed when i realized the art wasn't nearly as good.
and apparently Joe Mad himself will be a judge for the challenge. not only a great artist but a nice guy as well
